The Economic & Community Development Institute (ECDI) is one of the top U.S. SBA intermediary microlenders with a mission to invest in people to create measurable and enduring social and economic change. ECDI provides responsible, affordable lending and comprehensive small business development services to help underbanked people and communities join the economic mainstream.

At ECDI we stand firmly on ‘we get the work done.’ A lot of other community organizations serve as referral partners. BrandCamp has given us more credibility because of the technical assistance it empowers us to provide, complete with real deliverables.
— Courtnee Hawkins / Manager of Strategic Partnerships, ECDI

QuickWins - BrandCamp with ECDI

To innovate on their traditional offering of financing and training, ECDI engaged Conspire to bring BrandCamp to a select group of deserving small business owners. Over the course of two short afternoons, these entrepreneurs were able to work alongside one another to develop the beginnings of a sound brand strategy – and within weeks, each ‘camper’ received next steps with real tools designed to propel them to the next stage in their businesses.

We call these tools QuickWins. By combining simple and clean graphic design with clear messaging, QuickWin projects provide an affordable solution that quickly brings ideas to life, uplifting organizations with lofty goals.
